Cloud, Ex Soldier

Format: Commander

Commander: Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Naya Equipment deck is helmed by Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER, a haste-enabled commander built to suit up and swing immediately. The primary game plan is to deploy a dense suite of Equipment, attach it to Cloud (or a hidden commander like Tifa, Martial Artist), and leverage attack triggers for card draw, Treasure generation, and extra combat steps. The deck's core engine is the "power 7 or greater" payoff: Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER creates two Treasures on attack, Bugenhagen, Wise Elder draws a card each upkeep, and Tifa, Martial Artist untaps all creatures and grants an additional combat phase. The deck is a classic voltron build with a high artifact density, aiming to close out games through commander damage backed by Colossus Hammer and Aettir and Priwen. It also runs a strong protection suite to keep its key pieces alive.
