Deck overview

This Esper deck is a noncreature-spell control and value engine built around Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. Each MV3+ noncreature spell drains 2 life from every opponent and gains 2 life, while her end-step trigger converts 4+ life loss into extra cards. The deck multiplies that trigger with Papalymo Totolymo, Transpose wizard tokens, Black Mage's Rod, and Fandaniel, and closes through Exsanguinate or a token army. There is no hidden commander: Alisaie and Alphinaud Leveilleur are support pieces that tutor each other and reward double-casting. Removal, board wipes, and Propaganda buy time while the incremental damage accumulates, and recursion keeps key engines available after wipes.
