Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white typal aggro strategy built around Thurid, Mare of Destiny, focusing on Pegasi, Unicorns, and Horses. The primary game plan accelerates into Thurid on Turn 3 or 4, then deploys low-to-mid cost equine creature spells that Thurid automatically duplicates as tokens. This creates an immediate swarm of evasive, lifelink-boosted flying attackers. Synergistic payoffs like Cathars' Crusade, Crested Sunmare, and Mirror Entity rapidly multiply the board's offensive pressure, turning small utility creatures into lethal combat threats. The deck supports this go-wide board with mono-white draw engines like Caretaker's Talent and Tocasia's Welcome, alongside efficient single-target removal and asymmetric board wipes such as Mass Calcify. While the deck generates massive evasive board states and lifegain buffers, it relies on unhasty combat damage across multiple turn cycles, leaving it vulnerable to repeated creature sweepers and fast non-combat combo strategies.
