Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet token-swarming and artifact engine commanded by Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer. The primary strategy focuses on deploying low-cost token generators such as Third Path Iconoclast, Saheeli, Sublime Artificer, and Urza's Saga alongside efficient mana acceleration in the early turns. Once a wide board of artifact and creature tokens is established, casting Brudiclad on Turn 5 transforms every token into a copy of the strongest token in play—such as a massive Construct, an Urabrask's Forge Horror, or a Wurmcoil Engine. Because Brudiclad grants all creature tokens haste, the transformed army attacks immediately for lethal damage. Powerful draw engines like Rhystic Study and The One Ring sustain hand size, while free protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship defend Brudiclad at crucial moments. If the commander is removed, redundant win conditions like Shared Animosity, Purphoros, God of the Forge, and The Locust God ensure the deck can close out games independently.
