Deck overview

This Rakdos deck leverages the partner pairing of Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools and Jeska, Thrice Reborn to execute a reanimator and combat burst game plan. Tevesh Szat provides steady token generation and reliable card draw directly from the command zone, ensuring smooth resource flow without overcommitting cards from hand. The deck uses efficient graveyard tutors like Entomb and Buried Alive to bin massive threats such as Valgavoth, Terror Eater, Razaketh, the Foulblooded, Grave Titan, and Avatar of Slaughter. Once reanimated using low-cost spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead, Jeska enters to triple combat damage, allowing single creatures to eliminate an opponent in a single swing. A robust suite of instant-speed removal, board sweepers, and aristocrat payoffs like Mayhem Devil and The Meathook Massacre allows the deck to control the board, punish opposing creature strategies, and reliably close out the game across consecutive combat turns.
