Deck overview

This Alela, Artful Provocateur deck is an Esper pillowfort control and token swarm strategy that pairs dense enchantment and artifact synergies with an alternate two-card combo finish. The deck focuses on accelerating in turns 1–3 with low-cost mana rocks like Sol Ring, Mox Diamond, and Signets, deploying Alela on turn 3 or 4. Every subsequent artifact and enchantment cast produces an evasive Faerie token while assembling a formidable defensive lattice featuring Moat, Ghostly Prison, Sphere of Safety, and Web of Inertia. Card advantage engines like Rhystic Study and Smothering Tithe maintain full grip and mana flow, while Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, and Enlightened Tutor provide reliable access to win conditions. The deck closes games around turn 7 either by overwhelming opponents in the air with massive anthem multipliers like Coat of Arms and Banner of Kinship, or by methodically exiling libraries using the Helm of Obedience and Rest in Peace combo.
