Deck overview

This deck is a Boros kindred aggro strategy centered on Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The game plan curves low-cost Dwarf creatures in the early turns, establishing a wide battlefield presence while deploying equipment and Treasure generators. When Thorin enters on Turn 5, he generates immediate Treasure and turns all accumulated artifact tokens into an asymmetric anthem for his fellow Dwarves. Critical onset occurs on Turn 6, utilizing massive combat attacks enhanced by Shared Animosity, Akroma's Will, or Sunforger packages to overwhelm opposing life totals. While the deck possesses explosive combat potential and robust instant-speed protection via Sunforger, it lacks recurring card advantage engines, making it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes. Independent backup plans like Bruenor Battlehammer and Aurelia, the Warleader ensure the deck can continue applying heavy combat pressure even if Thorin is removed.
