New Untitled Deck by punkermanny

Format: Commander

Commander: Blech, Loafing Pest

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Golgari lifegain/counters deck uses Blech, Loafing Pest as its engine: every separate life-gain trigger puts a +1/+1 counter on every Pest, Bat, Insect, Snake, and Spider on the battlefield. The main path is to generate a wide token army, double the counters with Branching Evolution, then finish with an overloaded Fangs of Kalonia or a giant Comforting Counsel-boosted attack. Secondary paths are death-drain attrition from Blood Artist, Vengeful Bloodwitch, and Enduring Tenacity, plus long-game recursion from Grave Venerations and Beledros Witherbloom. There is no true infinite combo; Blech accelerates a value plan, and without him the deck still has lifegain payoffs but loses the mass-counter ability that makes its combat kills fast.
