Deck overview

This deck is a casual Rakdos typal midrange build centered on Demons, Devils, and Imps, led by Rakdos, the Showstopper. The game plan revolves around casting cost-efficient mid-sized beaters in the early turns, establishing 6 mana, and resolving the commander to trigger an asymmetric coin-flip board wipe that clears opposing utility creatures and blockers. Once the board is thinned, the deck closes the game through multi-turn aerial combat using high-power flying Demons like Desecration Demon and Defiling Daemogoth. A secondary steal-and-sacrifice package leverages temporary threaten effects such as Act of Treason and Sibling Rivalry with sacrifice outlets like Thraxodemon and Demon of Catastrophes. The list features robust creature removal and board wipes, but suffers from high mana friction caused by tapped lands, limited card draw, zero countermagic, and an absence of protective spells for its combat threats.
