Squrrels by itzacookie

Format: Commander

Commander: Chatterfang, Squirrel General

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Golgari deck builds a wide Squirrel board around Chatterfang, Squirrel General. Chatterfang doubles every token you create and gives you a removal outlet by sacrificing Squirrels. You flood the board with Squirrel Nest, Deep Forest Hermit, Underworld Hermit, Chitterspitter and The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, then pump the army with Squirrel Sovereign, Chitterspitter counters and The Odd Acorn Gang. Poison-Tip Archer, Cauldron of Essence and Moldervine Reclamation turn deaths into drain and cards, while Hazel of the Rootbloom and Tippy-Toe add mana and extra Food tokens. You win by combat after End-Raze Forerunners or by incremental drain. A four-card Food loop with Academy Manufactor exists but is slow and secondary.
