To function, the pilot must mulligan aggressively—leveraging Serum Powder for free hand exiles—until finding Approach. The deck then deploys basic Islands on curve, casting Codie on turn 3. On turn 6, the player taps four Islands to activate Codie for five-color mana, taps two more Islands, and casts Approach from hand.
