Deck overview

The deck is an accelerated Sultai Elf engine built around Thranduil, the Elvenking. Thranduil, the Elvenking copies activated abilities from Elf cards in the graveyard, while legendary Elf entries can generate card flow through its draw-two-discard-one trigger. The main supported finish is Circle of Dreams Druid with Umbral Mantle and at least three other creatures. The Druid produces enough mana to pay the Mantle's untap cost repeatedly, creating unlimited green mana. Finale of Devastation then finds Craterhoof Behemoth and gives the team a lethal hasty trample attack. Fast mana, creature tutors, reanimation, and strong free interaction make the deck powerful at general high-power tables. Its limits are the need for a wide creature board, a singleton artifact combo piece, and a payoff, plus considerable exposure to creature and artifact removal before the loop begins.
