Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color combat-focused midrange deck headlined by the partner pairing of Leonardo, the Balance and Raphael, the Muscle. The primary game plan revolves around generating creature and artifact tokens (such as Mutagen and Food tokens) to trigger Leonardo's global +1/+1 counter placement. Once your creatures carry counters, Raphael doubles all damage they deal, turning even modest boards into lethal offensive threats. The deck supplements this core engine with scalable counter multipliers like Corpsejack Menace and Primal Vigor, efficient combat draw engines like Ray Fillet, Wave Warrior, and asymmetric board wipes like Wave Goodbye. While it lacks stack-based countermagic and fast combo finishes, its compounding stats, commander synergy, and Leonardo's full-spectrum keyword activation ({W}{U}{B}{R}{G}) provide relentless combat inevitability.
