Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is commanded by Felisa, Fang of Silverquill, merging +1/+1 counter distribution with classic Aristocrats drain mechanics. The strategy aims to load nontoken creatures with counters using pieces like Luminarch Aspirant, Bartolomé del Presidio, and Cathars' Crusade, then sacrifice them to generate flying 2/1 Inkling tokens. As creatures die, aristocrat payoffs like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Zulaport Cutthroat siphon life from opponents while Inklings build an evasive aerial army. Fast mana and efficient 2-mana ramp ensure smooth early deployments, while premier spot removal like Swords to Plowshares and Anguished Unmaking keeps opposing threats in check. The deck closes games through compounded combat damage and mass sacrifice drain, providing resilient midrange pressure with multiple backup lines.
