Deck overview

This is a mono-blue draw-matters deck built around Minn, Wily Illusionist. The core loop is to turn an extra draw into an Illusion token, then sacrifice or equip that token to convert its death into a free permanent from hand. Early turns develop the draw suite with Archmage Emeritus, Archmage of Runes, Teferi's Ageless Insight, and Thought Reflection; midgame the deck uses Skullclamp, Ashnod's Altar, and High Market to churn through Illusions and cheat out high-end payoffs such as Nezahal, Primal Tide, Hullbreaker Horror, and Psychosis Crawler. It closes games with a table-wide Psychosis Crawler drain, the alternate-upkeep win of Triskaidekaphile, or an evasive swarm under Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive and Wonder. Minn is the engine that makes the deck explosive, but the 99 contains enough independent draw and token generation to play a slower value game if she is answered.
