Deck overview

This Temur deck harnesses Ureni of the Unwritten to cheat devastating Dragon threats onto the battlefield straight from the library. The early game focuses on accelerating mana through low-cost ramp spells and creature cost reducers. By Turn 4 or 5, casting Ureni triggers an immediate top-eight search, putting an imposing Dragon such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, or Utvara Hellkite directly into play without additional mana. Multiple global haste enablers allow these flying behemoths to attack immediately, generating cascading combat triggers and explosive burn damage. The deck also features a compact two-card infinite combo between Savage Ventmaw and Aggravated Assault, enabling infinite combat phases and unlimited mana. Defensive spells like Heroic Intervention and Fierce Guardianship shield the board against removal, while asymmetric cards like Mudslide lock down grounded opponents. The result is a resilient, stompy powerhouse that rapidly overwhelms the table in aerial combat.
