Thranduil by user8043893

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking turns the graveyard into a second hand: every activated ability of an Elf card in the yard is available on the commander. The primary plan is to ramp with Elf dorks, use Buried Alive/Entomb to stock the yard, and then have Thranduil generate tokens and huge mana from Priest of Titania, Imperious Perfect, and Wirewood Channeler. The secondary path is elfball beatdown with lords and Elvish Warmaster, finished by Finale of Devastation or Ezuri. The hidden commander is the graveyard itself; this deck is built for the single-faced Thranduil. The usual kill comes from infinite Staff of Domination mana into a mass-pump, drain, or overrun.
