Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Dragon tribal stompy strategy commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early mana rocks and creature cost reducers—such as Dragonspeaker Shaman, Herald's Horn, and Dragonlord's Servant—to accelerate into high-impact flying threats. Once Lathliss, Dragon Queen is cast on turn 5, subsequent Dragon spells generate additional 5/5 flying tokens, quickly building an overwhelming aerial presence. Direct damage engines like Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Warstorm Surge convert creature deployment into immediate board removal and player burn. High-end finishers like Utvara Hellkite and Terror of Mount Velus enable decisive lethal swings across turns 6 to 8. The deck features strong creature-based interaction and damage sweepers, but relies on aggressive pressure rather than countermagic or stax to outpace opponents.
