Commander: Gwafa Hazid, Profiteer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gwafa Hazid, Profiteer commands an Azorius pillowfort control deck focused on locking down combat and exhausting enemy resources. The deck leverages symmetry-breaking group hug elements, heavy attack taxes like Propaganda and Ghostly Prison, and untap engines to repeatedly bribe enemy threats. While opponents struggle to navigate tax matrices and targeted lockouts, you amass card advantage through monarch enchantments and shared draw triggers. The primary win condition is passive mill via Court of Cunning, Sphinx's Tutelage, and Folio of Fancies, with alternate lines provided by Triskaidekaphile upkeep triggers or flying token swarms from Court of Grace.
