Deck overview

This Temur deck leverages Eshki, Temur's Roar as a commander-centric value and burn engine at the helm of an aggressive Dragon stompy shell. The deck accelerates through dense 1–2 CMC mana ramp into an early Eshki deployment on Turn 3. From Turn 4 onward, casting mid-sized and massive Dragons triggers Eshki's +1/+1 growth, recurring card draw, and direct table-wide burn. High-impact Dragon payoffs like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Atarka, World Render, and Terror of Mount Velus create immediate, evasive lethal clocks that eliminate opponents across one to two combat rotations. Multiple haste enablers such as Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy ensure that threats immediately apply pressure, bypassing summoning sickness. While the deck possesses explosive damage and reliable card replenishment, it remains vulnerable to sweepers that reset creature boards before combat connections, relying on efficient countermagic and protection spells like Heroic Intervention to defend its closing windows.
