X Spells by user8211769

Format: Commander

Commander: Magus Lucea Kane

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Magus Lucea Kane leads a Temur board that taps her for two colorless mana and then copies the next spell or activation with {X}. The primary plan is to cast a large {X} payoff, double it through Magus's copy trigger, and either finish through Exocrine or Crackle with Power or turn copied hydra tokens into an unblockable, hasted attack. Secondary paths are the Aphetto Alchemist + Illusionist's Bracers infinite-mana loop and combat wins enabled by Herald of Secret Streams and Winged Hive Tyrant. The deck leans on Magus to accelerate and copy, but it can still operate through Rosheen and Unbound Flourishing if she is removed. Rosheen acts as a useful backup X-mana engine but not a true hidden commander. Both Magus faces are one well-defined role: acceleration through {X} spells.
