Green Goblin, Madness by Meister_Urza

Format: Commander

Commander: Norman Osborn // Green Goblin

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Norman Osborn // Green Goblin is a Grixis Villain-tribal discard engine. Norman's front face is an early unblockable connive trigger that fills the graveyard; the deck's true purpose is to transform into Green Goblin, whose Goblin Formula gives every nonland card in your graveyard mayhem and discounts graveyard spells by {2}. From there, repeatable looters like Currency Converter turn each discarded card into a castable spell, culminating in hasty Villain swarms powered by Living Laser, The Squadron Sinister, and Doctor Octopus. Secondary paths are Plan payoffs (Glorious Purpose, Doom Reigns Supreme) that turn connive/Villain triggers into free spells. There is no hidden commander; the commander is the engine, and all other legendary Villains are supporting value pieces.
