Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated mono-red Equipment Voltron strategy commanded by Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms. The deck ramps into its 6-mana commander on turn 4 or 5. Once Gilgamesh enters the battlefield and attacks, his ability looks at the top six cards of the library to cheat any number of Equipment cards directly into play for free, automatically attaching one to himself. Because the list runs over 40 Equipment cards, each trigger delivers massive board presence, granting Gilgamesh overwhelming power, double strike, trample, and protection. Gilgamesh swiftly eliminates opponents through commander damage, often taking down a player per combat step. While the deck boasts immense mana cheating and combat lethality, it relies heavily on its commander, contains minimal stack interaction, and is susceptible to artifact sweepers.
