Deck overview

This list is a competitive Temur Midrange Storm deck piloted by Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist. The deck pairs dense fast mana acceleration with premier free interaction and flexible tutors. Its primary game plan revolves around assembling a protected Underworld Breach combo alongside Brain Freeze and Lion's Eye Diamond, milling the library to win via Thassa's Oracle in a single turn. When rapid combo assembly is contested, the deck transitions into a potent midrange engine. Pako, Arcane Retriever generates substantial card advantage by exiling noncreature spells from all four libraries while growing into an imposing combat threat. Haldan, Avid Arcanist converts these exiled resources into usable spells and lands. A secondary infinite mana line via Food Chain and Squee, the Immortal provides redundancy. With broad countermagic and protection, the deck reliably protects its win attempts while contesting faster opposing plans.
