Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Black Discard and Attrition engine commanded by Tinybones, Trinket Thief. Its core game plan revolves around rapidly stripping all opposing hands through symmetric and asymmetric discard spells such as Bottomless Pit, Necrogen Mists, Delirium Skeins, and Bandit's Talent. While opponents are forced into topdeck mode, Tinybones breaks parity by drawing extra cards on each player's end step, fueling relentless card advantage. The deck leverages high-yield mana engines like Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx to accelerate into crushing mid-game threats. Once hands are empty, it converts control into victory using Tinybones's activated ability to drain hellbent opponents for 10 life per activation, supplemented by rack effects like Shrieking Affliction, Painful Quandary, and game-ending sorceries like Torment of Hailfire. While vulnerable to artifact-heavy boards and mass enchantment removal, its suffocating resource denial reliably suppresses conventional strategies.
