Kefka, Court Mage is the deck's card-advantage engine rather than the win condition: his ETB/attack trigger forces discards and draws a card per discarded card type, while the Ruler of Ruin side later turns an 8-mana activation into sacrifice pressure and flying card draw. The primary kill is Thassa's Oracle plus Demonic Consultation, with a backup Underworld Breach + Brain Freeze + Lotus Petal loop. The deck plays as a low-to-the-ground Grixis control-combo: accumulate cards, protect the stack with free interaction, then win in one turn. Wizard synergies such as Naban and Harmonic Prodigy make Kefka's triggers stronger, but the combo lines themselves do not require him.
