Deck overview

Tidus, Yuna's Guardian commands a Bant midrange deck centered on +1/+1 counter placement, counter manipulation, and explosive combat steps. The deck establishes early mana acceleration through scaling creatures like Bloom Tender and Incubation Druid before casting Tidus on Turn 4 to move counters and trigger Cheer for card draw and proliferation. As the board develops, counter multipliers including Hardened Scales, Kami of Whispered Hopes, and The Earth Crystal rapidly grow creature power, while engines like Danny Pink and Pollywog Prodigy maintain a steady stream of cards. By Turn 6, the deck converts its tall board into a decisive threat using mass evasion from Herald of Secret Streams and Abzan Falconer or overruns like Triumph of the Hordes and Akroma's Will. Format-ceiling protection spells such as Clever Concealment, Ripples of Potential, and Heroic Intervention insulate the board against sweepers, ensuring a clean Turn 7 victory.
