Format: Commander

Commander: Varina, Lich Queen

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Varina, Lich Queen leads a midrange zombie-tribal build that turns attacks into card draw, life gain, and graveyard fuel. The primary plan is to establish a zombie swarm, trigger Varina's attack trigger to loot through the deck, then use token creation and recursion to rebuild a lethal board; combat finishes with lord pump and drain triggers. Secondary paths are Sanguine Bond draining from repeated life gain and Undead Alchemist milling an opponent while making zombies. Reanimation and engines such as The Scarab God and Necroduality provide resilience. Varina is the main engine; the deck has no hidden commander. Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver and Liliana, Dreadhorde General act as backup token/draw engines.
