Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Elf tribal and graveyard combo strategy commanded by Thranduil, the Elvenking. It leverages low-cost mana dorks like Priest of Titania, Bloom Tender, and Llanowar Elves to accelerate mana and deploy Thranduil ahead of curve. The primary win condition uses graveyard tutors such as Buried Alive and Entomb to place Devoted Druid, Immaculate Magistrate, and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord into the graveyard. Thranduil inherits these activated abilities, creating infinite green mana and infinite +1/+1 counters before sacrificing an infinitely large creature to Jarad's ability to eliminate the entire table on Turn 5. Backup lines include Staff of Domination infinite mana loops and wide combat overruns led by Tyvar, the Pummeler and Lathril, Blade of the Elves. The deck is vulnerable to targeted graveyard exile, creature ability shutoffs like Cursed Totem, and fast combo decks due to a light reactive interaction package.
