Deck overview

Tidus, Yuna's Guardian commands a Bant counters deck that converts counter manipulation into card advantage and proliferation. Tidus shifts counters at combat to ensure at least one creature can attack profitably, triggering his Cheer ability to draw cards and proliferate across the battlefield. The strategy builds a wide, imposing board using engines like Wakka, Devoted Guardian and Maester Seymour, pushing lethal combat damage with evasion from Duskshell Crawler and double strike from Chocobo Knights. Beyond combat, the deck can assemble an infinite damage combo using Walking Ballista, Gatta and Luzzu, and Hardened Scales, or break stalemates with asymmetric board wipes like Damning Verdict.
