Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aura-centric control and pillowfort build led by Killian, Decisive Mentor. Operating differently than traditional Voltron strategies, this deck focuses on enchanting opponents' creatures to control the board. By utilizing Killian's unique abilities, every enchantment entering the battlefield allows you to tap and goad a creature, while attacking enchanted creatures draw you cards. The primary game plan is to deploy goad Auras like Coercive Impetus and Martial Impetus onto opponents' strongest threats, forcing them to batter each other while fueling your hand. Meanwhile, you establish an impenetrable pillowfort using Sphere of Safety and Eriette of the Charmed Apple to ensure the aggression never heads your way. You win by letting your opponents whittle each other down, draining them out passively with Eriette, or swinging with a single massive creature buffed by All That Glitters or Ethereal Armor.
