Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire by Jamiro

Format: Commander

Commander: Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire is the engine: every attack forces each player to sacrifice a permanent and then cheat the top card of their library into play. The deck ramps to him quickly, then uses tokens from Bitterblossom, From Beyond, Jadar, and Ophiomancer as fuel. Sacrifice payoffs like Mayhem Devil, Blood Artist, and Zulaport Cutthroat turn those triggers into damage and life. Secondary paths are token-ETB burn with Purphoros, Terror of the Peaks, and Warstorm Surge, plus a pumped alpha strike from Avenger of Zendikar and End-Raze Forerunners. There is no hidden commander; the list is built around Vaevictis's attack trigger, with Titania and Chatterfang as support pieces.
