Deck overview

Shilgengar, Sire of Famine heads an Orzhov graveyard-reanimation deck that treats Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward as its de-facto hidden commander. The primary plan is to mill and tutor key creatures, use Shilgengar's Blood-token ability to mass-reanimate the graveyard, then convert Abdel's repeated ETBs into an army of Soldier tokens or a drain kill with Gray Merchant and Corpse Knight. The secondary plan is a midrange Angel beatdown with Avacyn and Archon of Cruelty. The deck can execute a true infinite blink only with Abdel plus Animate Dead; the mass-reanimation blink chain with Felidar Guardian, Restoration Angel, and Glorious Protector is powerful but finite unless the Animate Dead loop is also live.
