Deck overview

This deck is an Esper artifact midrange strategy helmed by Urza, Chief Artificer. Its primary plan focuses on establishing early artifact mana and utility permanents to reduce Urza's casting cost through affinity. Once deployed, Urza creates scaling Construct tokens on every end step that grow in power and toughness with each artifact you control, while granting all artifact creatures menace. The deck reinforces this token army with redundant Construct generators like Simulacrum Synthesizer and Urza, Lord High Artificer. It protects its board using defensive staples such as Bronze Guardian, Padeem, Consul of Innovation, and Akroma's Will. Asymmetric disruption spells like Organic Extinction and Desynchronization clear opposing boards while leaving your historic and artifact permanents untouched. The deck closes games around Turn 7 by overwhelming opponents with massive, evasive combat damage.
