Deck overview

Zimone, Infinite Analyst pilots a Simic big-mana strategy that turns X-cost spells into an accelerating engine. The game plan hinges on an early ramp piece to deploy Zimone on Turn 2, followed by cheap X spells on subsequent turns to rapidly accrue +1/+1 counters. Each counter reduces the generic mana cost of the first X spell cast each turn, allowing the deck to cheat massive quantities of mana into play. Because Zimone's discount triggers on every turn, instant-speed interaction and flash spells can be cast on opponents' turns with substantial discounts while further stacking counters. Mid-game setups utilize mass card draw and mana doublers to assemble overwhelming threats such as Kalonian Hydra, Primordial Hydra, or multi-target Doppelgang. The deck secures victory on Turn 7 through wide trample attacks, well-shielded by an extensive suite of low-cost hexproof, phase-out, and countermagic protection.
