Deck overview

This Orzhov midrange deck is helmed by Ketramose, the New Dawn, focusing on turning targeted exile effects into steady card advantage while building toward an indestructible combat threat. By combining enchantment-based temporary exile, graveyard purges, and instant-speed removal, the deck aims to control opposing threats while drawing cards whenever cards enter exile on the pilot's turn. Once seven cards are exiled, Ketramose unlocks as an indestructible 4/4 menace lifelink attacker. The supporting cast leverages lifegain triggers and landfall token creation through cards like Bloodbond Vampire, Essence Channeler, and Retreat to Emeria to establish a stable board. While the removal package is deep and resilient against destruction, the deck lacks fast mana acceleration, explosive tutors, and compact win conditions, resulting in an extended, grindy clock that wins through attrition and fair combat damage over multiple table rotations.
