dwarves with sticks by user8407700

Format: Commander

Commander: Dwalin, Weaponmaster

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Dwalin, Weaponmaster leads a Boros Equipment deck that turns cheap Dwarves and cheap Equipment into a fast, wide, double-striking board. The primary plan is to deploy Dwalin early, attach hone-countered Equipment, and kill with commander damage or a swarm of equipped Dwarf tokens. Secondary paths use Magda, Brazen Outlaw to tutor out Mjolnir or other artifacts, and Reckless Crew to convert a large Equipment count into an army. The hidden commander is Bruenor Battlehammer, whose +2/+0 per Equipment and free first equip each turn make every equipped attacker a serious threat. The deck is built to use Dwalin's face as a cheap, repeatable hone-counter engine, with Bruenor and Reyav providing the finishing multipliers.
