Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest is the engine: at each combat he turns a critical mass of legendary Wizards into free instants and sorceries. The primary plan is to ramp into Gandalf, add legendary Wizards such as Kykar, Baral, and Adeliz to raise X, then use the combat trigger to cast Time Warp, Seize the Day, or Expropriate for free, copying them with Thousand-Year Storm or Gandalf the Grey. Secondary paths are a Wizard/token beatdown with Adeliz, Balmor, and Akroma's Will, and a Niv-Mizzet, Parun draw-ping engine. Kykar, Wind's Fury is the hidden commander: it is a legendary Wizard, produces Spirit tokens and red mana, and is the deck's best enabler.
