Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Goad and Aristocrats control build commanded by Kardur, Doomscourge. Its strategy revolves around repeatedly deploying and re-triggering Kardur's enter-the-battlefield ability to force opposing creatures to attack each other every combat round. While opponents batter each other's life totals and lose creatures in combat, Kardur's secondary ability alongside aristocrat staples like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bastion of Remembrance systematically drains the table. Blink and reanimation engines—including Conjurer's Closet, Sanctum of Eternity, and cheap 'return on death' instants like Supernatural Stamina—ensure that opponents remain permanently goaded. The deck also packs a compact game-ending combo in Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame, giving it an instant-speed burst win if opposing boards stall. Backed by solid creature removal and graveyard reanimation, it excels at turning enemy aggression into self-inflicted defeat.
