Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu midrange strategy led by Terra, Herald of Hope. It blends graveyard reanimation with combat triggers and 'attacks alone' mechanics. Terra fuels the graveyard by milling two cards during combat and granting herself flying, then pays two mana on combat damage to return creatures with power 3 or less to play. Backed by complementary attackers like Squall, SeeD Mercenary, Isshin, Two Heavens as One, and Celes, Rune Knight, the deck steadily snowballs board presence and +1/+1 counters. Defensive permanents like Silent Arbiter, Crawlspace, and Sphere of Safety channel incoming combat into manageable exchanges. Because the list plays no infinite combos or fast-mana rocks, it wins through resilient combat attrition over several turns.
