Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck uses Thassa, Deep-Dwelling to repeatedly trigger enter-the-battlefield abilities on utility creatures. In the early game, it develops mana and plays cantrip creatures like Cloudkin Seer and Watcher for Tomorrow to ensure smooth card flow. Once established, Thassa flickers these creatures each end step to generate card advantage while keeping mana open for counterspells. In the mid-to-late game, the deck shifts toward controlling the board using high-impact threats such as Agent of Treachery, Scourge of Fleets, and Meteor Golem. It can also close games abruptly using an infinite mana and flicker loop with Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake. Because the deck relies on high-mana payoffs and has light ramp, it favors patient, defensive sequencing.
