Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Green Voltron list built around Kosei, Penitent Warlord. It leverages heavy 1-mana ramp to cast Kosei on Turn 2, then rapidly fulfills his threefold condition—requiring an Aura, an Equipment, and a counter—by Turn 4. Once fully modified, Kosei's combat damage trigger simultaneously draws cards equal to the damage dealt and deals that same amount of damage to every other opponent. This transforms traditional single-target Voltron into a lethal, table-wide clock that refills your hand on every combat step. Supported by a dense suite of 1-mana hexproof and indestructible protection spells, the deck quickly snowballs damage through counter doublers like Hydra's Growth and Innkeeper's Talent, or instantly closes games with infect via Grafted Exoskeleton and Triumph of the Hordes.
