Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Orzhov aristocrats and lifegain-combo deck helmed by Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher. The plan floods the board with disposable tokens from engines like Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, Ophiomancer, and Charismatic Conqueror, then converts deaths into life drain via Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, and Mirkwood Bats. Carmen grows from every sacrifice and reanimates cheap permanents on attack, turning the graveyard into a second hand. Primary wins are the classic lifegain loops (Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond/Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose/Enduring Tenacity, and the same outlets with Bloodthirsty Conqueror), backed by Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Walking Ballista and Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar drains. The deck grinds value, recurs through wipes, and closes with either infinite life loss or overwhelming aristocrat damage.
