Kaalia - keyptur by user8316296

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kaalia of the Vast leads a mid-speed cheat-attack deck. The primary plan is to resolve Kaalia, swing, and place large Angels, Demons, and Dragons onto the battlefield tapped and attacking, turning mana advantage into flying combat damage. Isshin doubles that trigger, while Gisela, Neriv, and True Conviction multiply the damage. Avacyn and Sephara keep the board alive through wipes. Secondary lines hardcast Demons with Rakdos cost reduction and rebuild after wraths with Bringer of the Last Gift or Demon of Dark Schemes. The deck has no counterspells and no enchantment interaction, so it relies on speed, protection, and recursion. It is a straightforward, robust beatdown deck that normally closes the game around turns nine or ten.
