GREEN by Gluestick

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghalta, Primal Hunger

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-green deck floods the board with mana dorks and power-based threats, enabling Ghalta, Primal Hunger to be cast for as little as {G}{G}. Once Ghalta is on the battlefield, haste from Lightning Greaves or Concordant Crossroads, trample from Primal Rage/Garruk's Uprising, and game-ending pumps like Preposterous Proportions turn a mid-sized board into a lethal alpha strike. Secondary paths include Beastmaster Ascension, an Apex Altisaur fight engine with Hammer of Nazahn, or stalling behind Platinum Angel. Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and Temur Sabertooth generate card advantage and mana, but the deck lacks stack interaction and is vulnerable to settling on a wide, wrath-able board.
