Deck overview

K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth commands a fast, proactive mono-black combo deck that converts life totals directly into mana acceleration and overwhelming board states. By substituting life payments for black mana symbols, K'rrik enables rapid deployment of massive threats and card-draw engines like Bolas's Citadel, Vilis, Broker of Blood, and Asmodeus the Archfiend. The primary game plan seeks to assemble game-ending combinations, most notably Bolas's Citadel with Sensei's Divining Top and Aetherflux Reservoir, or recurring Gray Merchant of Asphodel via Chainer, Dementia Master. Backed by extensive graveyard recursion, the deck turns its life total into a high-octane resource to drain out the entire table simultaneously.
