Format: Commander

Commander: Syr Konrad, the Grim

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Syr Konrad, the Grim leads a mono-black self-mill and graveyard-reanimation deck. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with creature cards, then convert every mill, death, and reanimation trigger into damage through Syr Konrad, Ayara, and Gray Merchant. Secondary paths are Living Death mass reanimation, token generation from Abhorrent Overlord and Phyrexian Triniform, and a big Exsanguinate fueled by Black Market, Crypt of Agadeem, and Songs of the Damned. Tormod, the Desecrator acts as a hidden commander, turning graveyard exodus into zombie tokens. The deck is resilient in recursion but fragile to graveyard hate and has almost no stack interaction.
