Deck overview

This Golgari deck centers on Rendmaw, Creaking Nest, turning every multi-type spell into a swarm of goaded 2/2 black Bird tokens for all players. By packing the deck with artifact creatures, enchantment creatures, artifact lands, and kindred spells, the deck rapidly floods the board with flying attackers that opponents are forced to swing at one another. While opponents whittle down their own life totals, the deck sets up defensive layers like Revenge of Ravens and draws cards through enchantress engines like Eidolon of Blossoms. Once opposing life totals are depleted, asymmetric finishers such as Massacre Wurm, Kamahl, Heart of Krosa, or Triumph of the Hordes cleanly end the game. Efficient removal and Golgari creature tutors provide solid consistency throughout the mid-game.
