Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai combat-centric theft strategy piloted by Gonti, Canny Acquisitor. The early game focuses on deploying unblockable one- and two-drop Rogues and creatures such as Slither Blade, Changeling Outcast, and Triton Shorestalker, alongside efficient ramp pieces like Elvish Mystic and Nature's Lore. By Turn 4, the commander enters play, converting evasive attacks into free exiled cards from each opponent's library with an active cost reduction. Mid-game turns focus on expanding card selection and mana advantage through Prosperous Thief, Felix Five-Boots, and Savvy Trader. The endgame relies on converting small combat threats into lethal swings using Beastmaster Ascension, repeated triggers from Brainstealer Dragon, or high-impact permanents stolen from opponents' libraries. While the deck possesses explosive draw velocity and diverse card access, it remains vulnerable to sweepers and relies on sustained combat steps to close out the table.
