Isshin by johncafe1991

Format: Commander

Commander: Isshin, Two Heavens as One

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Isshin, Two Heavens as One leads a Mardu attack-trigger deck that doubles every attack trigger from permanents you control. The primary plan is to flood the board with tokens and attack triggers, then convert that board into a win through extra combat steps, annihilator Eldrazi, or repeated attack-trigger value. Secondary paths include cheating out Eldrazi with Sneak Attack, melding Mishra with Phyrexian Dragon Engine, and using extra combat spells to finish with a wide board. The commander is the engine, but the deck can still function through token generation and extra combat even if Isshin is removed. The hidden commander is Mishra, Claimed by Gix, which melds with Phyrexian Dragon Engine into Mishra, Lost to Phyrexia, a powerful extra-combat threat.
